If you drive, I’d highly recommend having a set of these in your car…just in case you either need to jump start your own car, or help out someone else.
This multi-functional car jump starter from VicTsing combines three functions in one: With 500A peak current output, it can start 4.0L and lower gas engine & 2.8T and lower diesel turbine of 12V vehicles; can be used as a mobile power bank and also has an in-built LED flashlight function.
I had an older jump starter device a few years ago but decided to purchase this one due to its portability, its pretty compact compared to most other ones. Not only does this jump start your car though, it also serves as a portable powerbank, so included are various other power connectors that allow you to charge multiple electronic devices such as: iPods, mobile phones, bluetooth headphones, tablets, mp3 players, laptops, PS Vita, PSP etc – 2 devices simultaneously I will add.
The device and extras are all kept well protected in a very solid clamshell case and the product itself feels solid. The capacity of the power bank is 13600mAh which would charge, for example, a Samsung galaxy note 4 about 4 times to 100% – which isn’t bad. The power bank itself can be charged via the mains or you can charge it using the ”in car” charger too.
The device also comes with an in-built flashlight (three modes: constant light, SOS and flashing) which comes in super handy if your working in the dark. If the powerbanks battery is at 100% and you leave the light on constantly it will deplete the battery in 72 hours, which is great if your ever stranded somewhere.
The device also comes with all the relevant safety protection – Over-current protection, short-circuit protection, overload protection, over-voltage protection, over-charge protection, which prolongs the jump starter life-span.
Overall a superb little device, feels great having one in the motor again. If your on the fence about getting one, just go for it. Never think ”I’ll never need a device like this” as you never know…it may just come in handy one day.
You don’t want to be that person stranded in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery and no phone signal thinking ”I wish I had a jump start kit” – I say that from experience too !
